Lasting progress against antimicrobial resistance requires thinking beyond the lifespan of individual projects. The Sustainable Impact approach is designed to place sustainability at the heart of how AMR interventions are considered from the outset.
In Nairobi, Kenya, this approach was put into practice with the team implementing an ICARS-supported project. Project stakeholders worked with the Sustainable Impact tools to examine their intervention through a longer-term lens, identify priority actions and begin translating these into a Sustainable Impact Action Plan.
